Support for the consolidation and growth programmes of start-ups, reinforcing and complementing investment projects by partners and/or third-party investors

Support for the consolidation and growth programmes of start-ups, reinforcing and complementing investment projects by partners and/or third-party investors

Description

The project initially involved preliminary R&D activities (laboratory tests, pre-qualification tests, etc.) to obtain validation results for the technology under development, which could then be presented to the medical community and potential future investors. In a second phase, the focus shifted to disseminating the results through participation in trade shows, seminars, and fundraising/investment activities. These efforts allowed the start-up, now an innovative SME, to grow, secure new funding through capital increases since 2019, and introduce the products under development to the medical and the scientific community.

Why is it important?

The project contributed to the company’s growth by increasing its value and establishing a highly international production chain, which is crucial for the product’s development in terms of design and market positioning.
