Description
The client needs to automate the decision-making process in the marketing area through a more data-driven approach compared to the current Excel sheets, that are manually created every month. In this context, it has been decided to evaluate an approach using dashboards and, in particular, to assess two different technologies in order to create a benchmark and choose the one that best meets the client’s needs.

Why is it important?
The project enabled the transformation and automation of a business process that was typically time-consuming, allowing for the automated loading of data from different data sources and thus providing an always up-to-date report/dashboard. Additionally, thanks to the intrinsic features of the BI tools used, it is possible to view the data from different perspectives by working with the available filters. Finally, thanks to the drill-down functionality, it is possible to view the data with different levels of “depth” (e.g., starting with an annual overview and then drilling down to the individual month and day).
