AI – Quantitative Imaging – Digital Pathology.

Description

AEQUIP is a project that originated at the Polytechnic of Turin, becoming a startup and spin-off of the Polytechnic in 2020. The startup aims to develop innovative and automated tools for the interpretation and quantification of medical images. Our area of focus is pathology, but the techniques developed can be applied in multimodal and multiscale contexts such as radiology, ultrasonography, microscopy, and dermatology. To adequately support the pathologist in the diagnostic process, AEQUIP offers two initial products: – STAINS, which optimizes the color profile of the image to be analyzed. – ASSIST, which is capable of recognizing and quantifying tumor areas.
