Description
A leading company in the engine sector is proposing innovations to its global sales and service network, aimed at optimizing processes, speeding up support, and increasing the reliability of its supply chain. The company is a multinational operating worldwide and, by choosing inRebus as its technology partner, is currently testing a kit designed to optimize and facilitate support and maintenance interventions, enabling remote visits and introducing specialized devices for optical and electrical investigation. The box is a system based on completely wireless technological components, capable of making connections and diagnoses remotely by using devices specifically integrated into the platform.
Why is it important?
The aim is to verify the platform’s ability to “support any type of remote inspection/repair intervention, avoiding both long machine downtimes and unproductive and non-ecological travel (car, plane, etc.).” The testing has confirmed the platform’s effectiveness in reaching these objectives; and during the advanced stages of the project the platform has been increasingly integrated into the client’s internal processes, becoming an indispensable component in the production process and post-sales service.
