Energy management of municipal building stock

Description

The project, intended for municipalities belonging to the province of Cuneo, was aimed at implementing actions to optimize the energy management of municipal building stock by supporting and training of municipal energy managers through:
1) Supply and installation of energy and environmental monitoring kits
2) Training and coaching activities in the energy management of pilot buildings.

Result to be enhanced

Through the conduct of the project, the following objectives were achieved:
– Reduce the needs of municipally owned buildings, which represent one of the most important cost factors borne by the entities themselves
– To raise awareness among citizens and administrations of the rational use of energy, in order to foster the growth of consensus regarding the pursuit of European and national targets for the reduction of CO2 and climate-changing emissions
– Initiate within municipal governments the creation of skills related to the energy upgrading of buildings
– Stimulate the use by municipalities in the territory of the province of Cuneo of national incentive tools for energy efficiency in public buildings, in particular the “Conto Termico 2.0”.

Why is it important?

The concept of a hospital microclimate refers to a set of environmental parameters that influence heat exchange between individuals and their surroundings in an enclosed space, such as a hospital. Microclimate comfort within a hospital is crucial, as it not only impacts the work efficiency of medical staff and healthcare workers but also affects the physiological well-being of patients. Therefore, proper monitoring of air quality, temperature, and humidity is essential.

Furthermore, the adoption of the Capetti Elettronica system has increased awareness of actual energy consumption by enabling constant remote supervision of temperatures in various interior rooms.
