Lab<\/strong> and the <strong>\u201cFUTURO\u201d Conference Room<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"256\" data-end=\"774\">The inauguration took place in the presence of key institutional representatives, including <strong><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Giovanni Amateis<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, Head of the University System, Right to Education, Research and Innovation Department of the <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Regione Piemonte<\/span><\/span>; <strong><span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span class=\"whitespace-normal\">Giorgio Abonante<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, Mayor of <span class=\"hover:entity-accent entity-underline inline cursor-pointer align-baseline\"><span Alessandria-Asti<\/span><\/span>, alongside numerous members and representatives from the industrial sector.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"776\" data-end=\"947\">These new facilities have been designed to become a reference hub for companies, researchers, and professionals working in sustainability, recycling, and circular economy.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/article>\n<h3 data-start=\"709\" data-end=\"770\">An Open Lab Serving Industry and Research<\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1000\" data-end=\"1193\">The new Open Lab has been created to support experimental activities within the regional ecosystem, fostering collaboration between companies, research organizations, and training institutions.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1195\" data-end=\"1230\">The facility enables activities in:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1232\" data-end=\"1872\">\n<li data-start=\"1232\" data-end=\"1293\">\n<p data-start=\"1234\" data-end=\"1293\"><strong>Research on polymer materials<\/strong> and processing technologies<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1294\" data-end=\"1549\">\n<p data-start=\"1296\" data-end=\"1549\"><strong>Treatment of biomaterials<\/strong> and post-consumer polymer waste for the characterization of new recycled formulations and their reuse as secondary raw materials, in line with RecyClass protocols, with dedicated washing and recycling transformation equipment<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1550\" data-end=\"1725\">\n<p data-start=\"1552\" data-end=\"1725\"><strong>Assessment of processability<\/strong> and sample production for new materials for injection molding, extrusion, and film applications, including cast and blown film extrusion lines<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1726\" data-end=\"1872\">\n<p data-start=\"1728\" data-end=\"1872\"><strong>Development of Proof of Concept (PoC)<\/strong> activities within specific and\/or funded projects aimed at validating innovative technological solutions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 data-start=\"1705\" data-end=\"1746\"><strong data-start=\"1709\" data-end=\"1746\">The \u201cFUTURO\u201d Conference Room<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"1912\" data-end=\"2077\">Alongside the Open Lab, Proplast has launched the new \u201cFUTURO\u201d Conference Room, a space dedicated to technical events, seminars, and technology transfer initiatives.<br \/>\nThe room is designed to facilitate dialogue between companies, researchers, and innovation stakeholders, supporting
