MiMoSe – Micro Mobility Self-driving Electrical vehicle

Characteristics
The project focuses on electric indoor autonomous micro-mobility vehicles and has three main goals: 1. develop a Fleet management Platform, able to track, monitor and plan the fleets of autonomous vehicles developed by ALBA ROBOT
2. develop a new vehicle dynamic, based on pivotal omnidirectional wheels allowing a full motion movement, enabled by a collaboration with Politecnico di Torino
3. develop a wireless fast electrical recharge for the autonomous driving vehicles developed by ALBA ROBOT
Result to be enhanced
The main results achieved in the project include the optimization of autonomous vehicle fleet operations, with efficient route planning, continuous monitoring to ensure passenger safety and prevent failures. A management system was implemented that reduces downtime and ensures operational efficiency. Intelligent energy management has led to optimized recharging. The wireless charging system, which allows vehicles to charge autonomously, provides a user-friendly and secure solution, ensuring flexibility and interoperability with different technologies. An alternative kinematic system to the current one was evaluated and tested. All these advancements have been supported by a secure and scalable infrastructure.
