SMART PRODUCTS E MANUFACTURING

Mesap is Piedmont’s Innovation Cluster focused on Smart Products and Manufacturing. Since 2009, it has accelerated innovation and technology transfer from academia to companies, supporting their competitiveness and boosting cross-fertilization among sectors.

Mesap has about 240 members among SMEs, Large Companies, Universities, and Research Centres, with a top-level of specialization in products and services in manufacturing, automotive, aerospace and advanced mechanics to mention a few, as well as high competences in the integration of ICT, electronics, and components.

Mesap Cluster promotes International cooperation for R&D European and international projects, supporting its members to identify and manage funded projects (regional, national, European) and it is partner of several strategic international networks and platforms focused on electronics and smart manufacturing (i.e Silicon Europe Alliance, EpoSS, EFFRA, EIT Manufacturing,…) to increase companies competitiveness, structured cooperation and market opportunities.

ROLE WITHIN SISTEMA POLI

Addressing Piedmont Region Smart Specialization Strategy and its intervention areas -Aerospace, Mobility, Advanced Manufacturing, Green Technology and Materials, Food, and Health, Mesap Cluster focuses on Industry 4.0/5.0, Smart Products and Manufacturing, and their applications to photonics, mechatronics, and nanotechnologies. With tools and funded opportunities for digital and environmental sustainability – components reuse/recycle, predictive maintenance, process optimization, and growing attention to social impact, Mesap promotes the integration among Industry, communities, and talents’ attraction. Mesap will exploit Regional R&D activities promoting results for value creation to strengthen our territory’s competitiveness and growth.

Questo sito è stato realizzato nell’ambito del progetto TIPPS -Transizione e Innovazione con i Poli di Innovazione Piemontesi a Sistema – avviato grazie al cofinanziamento POR/Fesr 2014/20 della Regione Piemonte. A partire dal 2023 e in continuità con il primo ciclo di progetto, la presente piattaforma e i suoi contenuti sono stati aggiornati grazie ai fondi del Programma Regionale Piemonte F.E.S.R. 2021/2027.
